Installing a water softener requires mechanical and plumbing expertise. An incorrect installation can restrict water pressure throughout the property, cause salt backwashing water to overflow into domestic storage tanks, or bypass hard water completely. We specialize in all stages of system commissioning, from pipe sizing (1-inch, 1.5-inch, or 2-inch inlets) to electrical auto-valves and multi-port control valve configurations.

Critical Steps in Our Installation Process

1. Bypass Loop Assembly

We construct a 3-valve bypass manifold using premium CPVC/UPVC pipes. This allows you to bypass the softener easily during gardening or structural washing to conserve soft water, or during routine filter media maintenance without shutting off the main water supply to your building.

2. Multi-Port Valve Calibration

For manual softeners, we adjust and verify the settings for Service, Backwash, Brine Draw, and Fast Rinse. For automatic units (like the 3M SFT-100 & SFT-200 or Ion Exchange Zero B Auto Softener), we program the regeneration frequency based on your local water hardness level (PPM) and daily household water consumption.

3. Drain & Brine Line Assembly

We set up secure drain paths for backwash water discharge, preventing air gaps or siphoning loops that could back up grey water into the brine tank. The brine suction line is sealed tightly to prevent air intake during the regeneration cycle.
